Maybe it was higher fossil fuel costs that did it but shipping and handling costs have also increased. For us, they have doubled! Of course, we think that is a bit much especially when fuel costs haven't doubled but that's the way it is right now.
Consequently, we had to consider whether to increasing our prices or charge retail customers for shipping/handling. We gladly decided to keep our prices the same and just charge retail customers only $3 for shipping/handling and to absorb the rest of the increased freight costs. This will go into effect on August 1, 2007.
